Dr. Richard J. Rosato is president of the American Dental Association (ADA). An oral and maxillofacial surgeon, he practices in Concord, Hanover, and Peterborough, New Hampshire, and previously served as First District trustee of the ADA. A longstanding member of the Association, he has held numerous leadership roles, including chair of the ADA Council on Ethics, Bylaws, and Judicial Affairs and chair of the ADA Election Commission.

Rosato previously served as president of the New Hampshire Dental Society and the New Hampshire Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Society. He is a fellow of the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. He has also served on the boards of ADA Business Enterprises, Inc., the ADA Business Innovation Group, and the ADA Innovation Advisory Committee.

Rosato earned his dental degree with honors from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of Illinois Chicago, where he served as chief resident.
