Dr. Jonathan Norris is a board-certified pediatric dentist. He practices at Montshire Pediatric Dentistry, a multi-site practice with 10 locations serving patients across Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont.

Norris earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University’s Medical College of Virginia. During dental school, he received a Health Professions Scholarship from the U.S. Air Force and was selected to attend the U.S. Air Force Academy, where he attained the rank of captain and completed a certificate in advanced education in general dentistry.

Following active-duty service, Norris completed his pediatric dental residency at NYU Langone Health, where he received comprehensive specialty training in all aspects of pediatric dentistry.

Since 2017, he has been a leading advocate for minimally invasive dentistry, with a focus on nonsurgical interventions, reducing the need for pediatric sedation, and expanding access to care. Through the medical management of dental caries, he has stepped away from operating room privileges at six hospitals, reflecting his commitment to less invasive treatment approaches.

Norris is passionate about educating both medical and dental professionals on the impact of these practices for patients, providers, payers, and healthcare systems.
