Dr. Goly Abivardi

Dr. Goly Abivardi is a Swiss dentist,  innovator, and entrepreneur whose work reflects a blend of clinical practice, business development, and global health initiatives.

After studying medicine and dentistry at the University of Zurich, she and her sister, Dr. Haley Abivardi,  co-led a public pediatric dental clinic, where they observed the prevalence of untreated cavities and their impact on patients. This experience informed their focus on improving access to care and addressing gaps in treatment.

In 2003, they founded Swiss Smile, a dental service organization and clinical network focused on patient-centered care. During this time, they also operated a dental hygienist school and developed an oral care brand under the same name.

They later sold their dental service organization to focus on advancing biomimetic technology designed to treat early cavities without the use of a drill. In 2020, they founded vVARDIS to further develop and distribute this technology.

Their work brings together clinical care, research, and product development.
