Dr. Daniel Croley is vice president and chief dental officer for Delta Dental of California and Affiliates, serving more than 27 million customers across 15 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and other U.S. territories. He leads the organization’s clinical vision and quality strategy, advancing evidence-based care and driving innovation to strengthen oral health and support overall health outcomes.

Beyond Delta Dental, Croley is active across the broader oral health ecosystem, fostering collaboration among insurers, dental professionals, professional associations, healthcare standards organizations, and quality improvement initiatives. His work emphasizes access to care and the integration of oral health into whole-person health strategies. He has been recognized for his collaboration with the American Heart Association to help develop cardiovascular screening standards for the oral health care setting.

Croley earned his dental degree from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry and completed a general practice residency at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
